Occupational Therapist School Setting in Bridgeport, CT

An exciting opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in Bridgeport, CT. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' educational experiences by addressing their sensory, motor, and functional challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students' occupational therapy needs across the K-12 spectrum.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance students academic performance and daily functioning.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support holistic student development.
• Document progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
• Provide consultative guidance on adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure and certification.
• Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings.
• Strong understanding of educational protocols and individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff.
