School Occupational Therapist Anoka, Minnesota

A K-12 Occupational Therapist opportunity is available for a contract position located in Anoka, MN. This role focuses on providing occupational therapy services across a diverse student population in a school setting, supporting students developmental and educational needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting evaluations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans
• Implementing therapeutic interventions to enhance students' functional skills
• Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participating in meetings and providing consultation to staff regarding student accommodations and modifications

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Minnesota
• Experience working with children in a school environment, preferably K-12
• Strong knowledge of educational law, IDEA, and therapy techniques applicable in school settings
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain accurate records
