Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) and a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) are needed for a K-12 public school setting in Elizabeth, CO, for the full academic school year. This is a contract position designed to support students' developmental and educational needs through specialized occupational therapy services. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy services to students across K-12 grades, focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive strategies. Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs. Document student progress and maintain compliance with all school and state regulations. Participate in team meetings and support school-wide initiatives to promote student well-being. Qualifications and Experience: Current Occupational Therapist license (for OT position) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant certification (for COTA position). Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting preferred. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Ability to manage documentation and reporting in accordance with school policies. Familiarity with IEP processes and educational therapy plans.
