This full-time Occupational Therapist position supports K-12 students in a school setting located in Joliet, IL, with the contract running from August 11, 2025, through May 22, 2026. The role includes an orientation on August 4th and 5th, and requires 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Key responsibilities include enabling students to participate fully in classroom activities by addressing fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care abilities. The therapist will modify tasks or the environment to meet student needs, perform diagnostic and evaluation testing, and create detailed reports based on assessments and observations. Development and maintenance of Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives or accommodations are essential, along with collaborating and communicating effectively with parents and colleagues to support student progress.
