A full-time Speech Language Pathologist is needed to provide comprehensive speech and language services in a K-12 school setting. This contract position is based in the New Orleans, LA area and covers the 2025/2026 school year with guaranteed hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students across grades K-12.
- Design, implement, and document individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Conduct teletherapy sessions as appropriate to meet student needs.
- Maintain compliance with school and state regulations related to speech-language pathology services.
- Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology and healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with teletherapy methods and technology.
- Ability to work effectively in school environments providing direct therapy and consultation.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not required.
- Valid licensure to practice speech-language pathology in Louisiana.
