Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Plainfield, Illinois

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Morris, Illinois. This itinerant role serves students across grades Kindergarten through 12 and focuses on providing speech and language services tailored to support diverse communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students requiring speech-language support.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluated needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in a variety of settings throughout the school district.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.
• Participate in meetings and professional development activities as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Licensed to practice as an SLP in Illinois (PEL-required).
• Experience working in healthcare, pediatrics, schools, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) settings preferred.
• Ability to manage a K-12 caseload effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
