A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting. This contract role is scheduled for the upcoming school year and offers the opportunity to impact a caseload of 20-30 children spanning various grade levels.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Provide progress reports and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student goals
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with children across the K-12 age range
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage a caseload of 20-30 students efficiently while tailoring services to individual needs
- Knowledge of current speech-language pathology evaluation and therapy techniques
