A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) role is available for the 2025/2026 school year in a K-12 elementary school located in Spring, TX. This contract position supports students with speech and language needs under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of speech and language therapy plans for elementary students
- Conduct screenings, collect data, and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to reinforce therapy goals within the classroom setting
- Maintain accurate records and comply with school and state regulations
- Support the SLP in preparing materials and scheduling sessions
Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA certification or licensure
- Previous experience supporting speech-language therapy in a K-12 educational environment preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with children
- Knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and document progress accurately
