Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in San Francisco, CA

An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services at an elementary school serving students from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. This contract position extends from August 11 to June 4, offering a consistent and engaging school year schedule of 7.5 hours per day.

Responsibilities for this role include conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy services both in-person and through teletherapy platforms. The ideal candidate will support students communication needs to enhance their academic performance and social interactions. Collaboration with educators, families, and other healthcare professionals will be key in delivering effective interventions.

Preferred qualifications and experience include:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly in educational settings
• Familiarity with teletherapy methods and tools for delivering remote services
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for new professionals
• Ability to manage caseloads across multiple grade levels, ideally K-12
• Knowledge of speech and language development in early childhood and elementary years
