A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide maternity leave coverage at an elementary school in Aurora, IL. This contract position runs from August 20 through Thanksgiving and involves supporting students from 2nd to 5th grade. The role requires a dedicated professional with experience in pediatrics and school-based settings to manage a diverse caseload effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary students in grades 2-5
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
  • Comply with Illinois state guidelines and school protocols

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Illinois SLP license and a Professional Educator License (PEL) certification
