Job Description


An opportunity is available for an occupational therapist to support students from Early Childhood through 12th grade in a dynamic K-12 school setting located in Bolingbrook, IL. This full-time contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, offering a consistent schedule from August to May with 32.5 hours per week (8:00 AM 3:00 PM CST). Multiple openings are available with options to choose from caseload preferences focused on K-12, K-8, or Pre-K through 3rd grade programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct formal and informal assessments of fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to evaluate student needs.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary IEP team members to develop, implement, and monitor occupational therapy goals tailored to each student.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Provide services across multiple buildings, with the Early Childhood program served at a single site and travel required for K-12 caseloads.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Experience working within school-based or pediatric populations, including home health or healthcare settings.
  • Strong skills in fine motor and gross motor development.
