Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our remote team and support students within California. As an Occupational Therapist with Vocovision, you will provide virtual therapy services to K-12 students, helping them overcome physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges in the classroom and beyond. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within California, allowing you to have a meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions for students with a wide range of physical and cognitive challenges.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs, goals, and progress.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare providers to create effective and inclusive learning environments.

  • Provide ongoing progress updates, reports, and documentation.

  • Utilize teletherapy tools and technology to engage students effectively and keep them motivated.

  • Ensure compliance with school district and state regulations, as well as maintain appropriate licensure and certification.

  • Attend team meetings, training, and other professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California.

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

  • Previous experience working with children and students (K-12) is preferred.

  • Ability to provide virtual therapy using telehealth platforms (prior teletherapy experience is a plus).

  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff in a remote environment.

  • Comfortable using technology and online tools to enhance therapy sessions.
