Job Overview:
Vocovision is currently seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide virtual therapy services to K-12 students in Iowa. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with students facing a range of physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges, helping them build the skills they need to succeed in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services virtually to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students therapy needs and goals.

• Develop customized treatment plans that promote student success in school-based tasks (e.g., fine motor skills, handwriting, sensory regulation, daily living skills).

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, administrators, speech therapists, and parents.

• Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.

• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain all required records in compliance with state and district policies.

• Utilize digital tools and teletherapy platforms to provide engaging and effective remote sessions.

Requirements:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Iowa

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

• ASHA certification or eligibility (if required by the state)

• At least 2 years of school-based experience (preferred)

• Comfortable and competent with teletherapy platforms and digital tools

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage a virtual caseload effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior teletherapy experience

• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education compliance in Iowa

• Experience working with diverse student populations (e.g., autism, ADHD, physical impairments)
