An exciting opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support students in a K-12 school setting located in Washington, DC. This contract role involves working collaboratively with educators and support staff to enhance student engagement, independence, and success by providing tailored therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify students occupational therapy needs.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress.
- Providing consultative support to optimize student participation in daily school activities.
Desired qualifications and experience:
