Occupational Therapist School Setting in Sacramento, CA

A contract opportunity for an Occupational Therapist is available in a K-12 school setting located in Sacramento, CA. This position offers the chance to work directly with students across a wide age range, supporting their development and helping them achieve greater independence through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
• Provide consultative support and training to school staff to promote inclusive practices.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and IEP (Individualized Education Program) planning as required by the school.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist licensure appropriate for California.
• Experience working with children in an educational or pediatric setting, preferably in K-12 schools.
