Occupational Therapist School Setting in Bixby, OK

A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support students across K-12 grades in a school setting. This role is based in Bixby, OK, and focuses on delivering tailored therapeutic services to help students achieve their functional and educational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to identify students strengths and challenges related to their occupational performance
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and educational objectives
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure integrated support
• Provide direct therapy services to students, adapting strategies as needed to meet diverse needs
• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with school policies
• Participate in meetings related to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other student support plans

Preferred qualifications:

• Licensed or certified Occupational Therapist with credentials valid for practice in Oklahoma
• Experience working with children and adolescents in school environments
