A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide support within a K-12 school environment located in Matthews, NC. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students, helping them achieve their full potential in academic and social settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across grades K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech and language goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies.
- Participate in meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning and updates.
- Provide direct therapy services using evidence-based interventions tailored to each student's needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings preferred.
