The position offers the opportunity to apply skills in both direct therapy and collaboration with educational teams. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students across a broad range of communicative disorders. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports. Provide teletherapy services when appropriate to maximize accessibility. Support students throughout their school day, adapting therapy to meet developmental and educational goals. Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare and school settings. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and protocols. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or eligible to complete within this role. Strong skills in managing communication disorders such as autism spectrum conditions, language delays, and stuttering. Location and Schedule: Position based in Pell City, Alabama. Contract duration matches the academic year. Work schedule ideally includes five days per week at approximately 6.5 hours per day.
