Job Description


A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for a K-12 school district located in Lansing, KS, with service extending to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This full school year contract is designed for a dedicated professional to provide comprehensive speech and language support to students with communication disorders affecting their academic achievement.

Key responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. The SLP will develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families and deliver evidence-based interventions to promote student success. Caseload specifics for K-12 grades will be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current state license and/or certification in Speech-Language Pathology as required by the state of Kansas
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered
  • Experience with IEP development, special education regulations, and school-based speech services
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
  • Valid DOE Speech-Language Pathologist license
