Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based Contract

Location: Near Castle Rock, CO

Pay: $63/hour (local) or $2,607/week (travel)

Schedule: 37.5 student contact hours/week

Contract Length: Through the 2025-2026 school year

Amergis is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school team near Castle Rock, Colorado. This is a full-time contract role where you'll help students overcome communication challenges and thrive in their academic environment.

About the Role

As a school-based SLP, you will:

Conduct evaluations and assessments

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

Provide direct speech-language therapy services

Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists

Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with care plans and physician orders

Contract Details

Local Rate: $63/hour

Travel Rate: $2,607/week (includes travel stipend and full benefits)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours/week

Start Date: Remainder of the 2025-2026 school year

Licensure: Must be eligible for a Colorado Special Services Provider (SSP) license through the Colorado Department of Education (pending licenses accepted)

Minimum Requirements

Active SLP license in Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; may be required by contract

CPR certification (if applicable)

TB test or chest X-ray (if applicable)

Current health certificate (if required by contract or state)

Completion of Amergis' competency program (if applicable)

Strong communication and documentation skills

Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality

Must be at least 18 years old
