Job Description

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time School-Based Contract

Location: Near Golden, CO

Pay: $60/hour (local) or $2,549/week (travel, including stipends)

Schedule: 37.5 student contact hours/week

Contract Length: Remainder of the 2025-2026 School Year

Amergis is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a collaborative school team near Golden, Colorado. In this full-time contract role, you'll provide essential speech and language services to students, helping them thrive academically and socially.

Role Responsibilities

Conduct student evaluations and assessments

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

Provide direct speech-language therapy services

Document services in accordance with care plans and physician orders

Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Contract Details

Local Rate: $60/hour

Travel Rate: $2,549/week (includes stipends and full benefits)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours/week

Start Date: Immediate through the end of the 2025-2026 school year

Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for a Colorado Special Services Provider (SSP) License with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement (pending licenses accepted)

Minimum Requirements

Active SLP license in Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; may be required by contract

CPR certification (if applicable)

TB test or chest X-ray (if applicable)

Current health certificate (if required by contract or state)

Completion of Amergis' competency program (if applicable)

Strong communication and documentation skills

Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality

Computer proficiency required

Must be at least 18 years old

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
