A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available supporting K-12 students in a school setting located in Chambersburg, PA. This opportunity is ideal for an SLP with experience in pediatrics and school-based therapy, who holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and is ready to provide evaluations, individualized education plans (IEPs), and direct therapy services throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs.
- Develop, write, and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary school teams.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions tailored to students specific speech and language goals.
- Manage all required Chapter 14 documentation and compliance reporting.
- Serve a caseload of students, spanning elementary through secondary grade levels.
- Communicate regularly with families, educators, and administrators to support student progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP license with CCC credentials.
- Experience in pediatrics, school settings, and teletherapy is valuable.
- Strong understanding of K-12 speech therapy needs and protocols.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Position Details:
- Full-time, school-year contract beginning August 25, 2025, through May 26, 2026.
- Work schedule aligned with school hours (Elementary: 8:15 AM - 3:45 PM; Secondary: 7:25 AM - 2:45 PM).
- Typical assignment may include up to two school buildings.
- Caseload typically includes students across all K-12 grade levels.
