Job Description
An opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to support K-12 students in a school setting. This is a leave replacement contract position located in Quincy, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, addressing developmental, sensory, and motor skills needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation following school and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and support student success through therapeutic interventions
Qualifications:
- Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with children in a K-12 school environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy techniques and developmental milestones
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, and school personnel
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Location: Quincy, MA
Duration: Contract Leave Position
Setting: K-12 School
