A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide comprehensive speech and language services within a K-12 educational setting. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a diverse student population across a small, districtwide area in Greenville, IL, during the 2025-2026 school year on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50-60 students exhibiting a variety of speech and language disabilities.
- Deliver onsite speech therapy services within multiple schools, primarily serving K-12 grade levels.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with district policies.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with an SLP endorsement for the state.
- Credentials including CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or eligibility aligned with SLP healthcare and pediatrics experience.
- Experience with teletherapy practices is advantageous, although this role is primarily onsite.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or equivalent experience in school-based settings.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations across multiple school sites.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time position with a 37.5-hour work week.
- Contract duration aligns with the 2025-2026 school year.
- Services provided onsite within the district, supporting a small geographic area for ease of travel.
