Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A school district in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) for contract positions during the full 2026-2027 school year. These roles provide the opportunity to work directly with K-12 students in an onsite, school-based setting, focusing on speech and language development through individualized therapeutic services. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Perform speech and language assessments and assist in eligibility determination processes Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to student needs Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress reports and therapy notes Qualifications: Active California State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (required) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience in a school-based environment is advantageous Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities to support collaborative educational efforts Positions Available: Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, requiring a full school year commitment Part-Time: Approximately 2 days per week with flexible scheduling options, ideal for those seeking reduced hours or supplemental work, also requiring a full school year commitment This is an excellent opportunity for SLP professionals passionate about supporting student communication development within a dynamic and inclusive educational community.
