Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a contract position in a high school setting serving grades 9 through 12. This role is based in Gadsden, AZ, with a start date ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY). The position offers 37.5 hours per week, supporting a caseload of approximately 140 students alongside a team of fellow OT professionals and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs). Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to high school students, addressing diverse needs and supporting academic and functional performance. Collaborate with other therapists and educational staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans. Monitor and document student progress regularly, adjusting therapy goals as needed. Assist students in developing skills for daily living, sensory processing, motor coordination, and fine motor tasks. Engage in communication with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Qualifications: Current Occupational Therapist licensure. Experience working with high school-aged populations (grades 9-12). Ability to manage a large caseload effectively with support from OT team members. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate collaboration with school personnel and families. Familiarity with school-based occupational therapy practices and compliance requirements.
