Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Saint Petersburg, FL, supporting K-12 students throughout the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This role involves providing specialized speech and language services to a diverse student population in a dynamic educational setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs. Deliver targeted therapy sessions to address specific speech and language goals. Track and document student progress with attention to detail. Collaborate effectively with teachers, counselors, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive care. Involve and educate families to foster support and reinforcement of therapy objectives. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred, but not required. Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment. Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology for practice in the respective state.
