This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in an elementary school setting located in Ypsilanti, MI. The position is full-time or part-time for the 2025-2026 school year and is a leave contract assignment. The role requires on-site support throughout the duration of the contract.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working in pediatric and school settings is highly desirable
- Ability to deliver effective speech and language services tailored to elementary-aged students
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of communication-related interventions and strategies within the school environment
