Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Converse, TX

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This position offers an opportunity to provide specialized speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting in Converse, TX. We are seeking 1.5 monolingual Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs)one full-time and one part-timeto support campus therapy, ARDs (Admission, Review, and Dismissal meetings), and evaluations throughout the academic year. Candidates must hold their CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) and have experience working in healthcare, pediatrics, or school environments. Preferred qualifications include: Valid SLP certification (CCC required) Previous experience within an ISD (Independent School District) setting Proven ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and provide therapeutic interventions for a diverse student population Strong organizational skills to effectively manage ARDs and related documentation Onsite availability is mandatory for this contract role Bilingual SLPs holding CCCs with supervisory capabilities are particularly encouraged to apply Responsibilities: Deliver individualized and group speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals Participate actively in ARD meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Conduct timely evaluations and re-evaluations in compliance with state and federal guidelines Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions and student progress Provide supervision when applicable for support staff or other SLPs Benefits of this contract role include working directly within the school community and impacting the academic and social development of K-12 students.
