This position provides support to the university's academic support programs by facilitating communication between the department, workshop facilitators, tutors, and faculty. Provide customer service to students, faculty and staff through phone and email. Conduct target outreach calls to help pair students with support needed. Conduct CRLA certification training with tutors to maintain our high standard of tutor training. This role will work an onsite hybrid schedule. Duties and Responsibilities: Providing customer service to students, faculty, and staff, scheduling tutoring appointments Answering the telephone and responding to emails regarding academic support, and other general office duties. Facilitating School of Education Praxis remediation tutoring Confirm workshop facilitator emails Check and update website each term with new schedules and information Conduct target outreach calls Send recording links to Slate Communication Specialist Recordings Create video tutorials on short topics Conduct CRLA trainings with tutors Qualifications, Preferred Skills and Characteristics: A bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in higher education administration or a related field is required. Candidates must possess excellent written and interpersonal communication, computer and customer service skills. Demonstrated ability to identify, define, and evaluate problems and create appropriate strategies and solutions. Must be a self-starter, organized, and detail-oriented.
