Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in a K-12 educational setting located in El Prado, NM. This role supports students across multiple sites, including elementary, intermediate, junior, and senior high schools, as well as providing services to homebound students. Key Details: Position Type: Contract, school year (CSY) Start Date: August 4, 2025 (aligned with student start) End Date: May 22, 2026 Weekly Hours: 16 Daily Schedule: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM Caseload: Approximately 20 students, including 4 requiring speech-only services Student Ages: 3 to 19 years Locations: Multiple campuses including elementary and secondary schools and homebound services Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Provide therapy services to students with communication disorders in accordance with their educational needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation as per school guidelines Participate in meetings such as IEP development and review sessions Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC certification Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage a caseload and plan therapy effectively across multiple sites Familiarity with IEP processes and special education regulations This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student communication and learning in a supportive educational environment.
