Occupational Therapist School Setting in Fremont, CA

This position is for an Occupational Therapist providing services in a K-12 school setting, supporting students from transitional kindergarten through fifth grade. The role is part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, and will be onsite with a caseload of 22 students. The assignment runs from August 8, 2025, through May 29, 2026, aligning with the traditional school year calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver standard occupational therapy services to students from TK to grade 5.
• Conduct evaluations, create individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Document services and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary support efforts.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of California.
• Experience working within school settings preferred, particularly with TK-5 students.
• Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy practices.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 22 students.
