A Speech Language Pathologist is needed to join a dynamic Preschool Diagnostics Team focused on supporting early childhood development. This contract position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a three-person team, conducting comprehensive evaluations for incoming preschool students across a district-wide setting. Located in Alpharetta, GA, this role provides hands-on clinical experience within an early childhood school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret speech and language evaluations to assess developmental needs of preschool children
- Collaborate closely with team members to create tailored evaluation reports and recommendations
- Support families and staff through clear communication and advocacy for each childs speech and language development
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to ensure best practices in early childhood speech therapy
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Georgia SLP license and teaching certification
- Strong knowledge and experience in conducting preschool speech and language evaluations
- Completion or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Bilingual skills in Spanish highly preferred to support diverse student needs
- Experience in healthcare, pediatrics, or school-based speech therapy settings is advantageous
