Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time, school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in New Castle, Delaware, serving students in grades K-12 during the 2024-2025 school year. This role involves in-person work across two connected schools, providing comprehensive speech-language services within a supportive educational environment. Location: New Castle, Delaware K-12 school setting Onsite, full-time position Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy to students across K-12 grade levels Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs Manage a caseload across two school locations (three days at one school, two days at another) Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs) Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Delaware SLP license required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Previous experience in a school-based setting is advantageous Candidates currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are not being considered at this time Benefits: Competitive hourly rate ranging from $42 to $47 Weekly direct deposit for timely payment Access to dedicated support from a school-based services team Optional benefits available for full-time employees, including medical, dental, and vision plans This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student development through evidence-based speech-language therapy while working within an engaged and cooperative school community.
