Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide in-person services in an elementary school setting located in Ocean City, MD. This contract position spans the school year and focuses on students from Pre-K through 6th grade, serving children with mild to moderate disabilities. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individual and group speech and language therapy services to 40-50 students with mild to moderate disabilities. Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with students' specific needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and facilitate communication development. Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress. Utilize evidence-based practices to promote language, articulation, fluency, and communication skills. Desired Qualifications: Holder of an SLP CCC credential. Experience working with children in early childhood through elementary levels, particularly grades Pre-K to 6th. Familiarity with mild to moderate disability populations in a school environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educational teams and families. Ability to manage a caseload of 40-50 students effectively and maintain detailed records.
