This contract role provides the opportunity to work directly with children and adolescents who have diverse speech, language, and communication challenges, helping them achieve important academic and social milestones. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations for students Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs Deliver both direct therapy and consultative services to support student progress Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and IEP teams to ensure cohesive intervention plans Qualifications and Experience: Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license is required Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Certification, or eligibility to obtain the certification Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is preferred but not mandatory Position Details: Contract duration aligns with the school year calendar Flexible full-time or part-time schedules available, with 7-hour workdays typical Caseload encompasses students from kindergarten through 12th grade On-site service delivery is required at the school location This role offers a meaningful chance to impact student development within an educational environment while working a 35-hour week.
