This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the communication development of diverse learners throughout the academic year. Key Responsibilities: Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for students from kindergarten through 12th grade Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and implement therapy plans Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success strategies Maintain compliance with school and state regulations related to speech-language services Desired Qualifications: Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with school-aged children from K-12 grade levels Knowledge of educational laws and procedures related to speech therapy services Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with staff and families Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varied needs of students in a school environment Location: Westminster, MD
