Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This role focuses on providing speech and language therapy services to support student communication development and academic success. Location: Kingston, Pennsylvania
Position Type: Contract (Non-School Year) Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in K-12 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to enhance therapy outcomes Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional recommendations Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid School SLP certification or license Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team This contract offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student communication skills while working within a supportive educational environment.
