This role is ideal for professionals passionate about delivering therapeutic services to enhance student participation and success throughout the school year. Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment services to K-12 students with diverse needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Utilize therapeutic techniques to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities within the classroom environment Document and maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions Participate in team meetings and contribute to student-centered planning and interventions Desired Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy licensure for the state of Colorado Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings Knowledge of federal and state special education regulations and IEP processes Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs Location: Position based in Denver, Colorado Benefits of this role include the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student development and work within a supportive K-12 educational environment on a contract basis for the current school year.
