School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Bridgeport, CT. This itinerant role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students from Preschool through 8th grade at an elementary school, as well as preschoolers in the surrounding community. Responsibilities: Deliver assessment, evaluation, and individualized therapy to students with speech and language needs Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student communication development Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies Work closely alongside another SLP assigned to the same school to ensure coordinated services Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as needed Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility Experience or willingness to support new graduates or those new to school-based therapy environments Ability to travel between the school and community locations as required for the itinerant position Candidates must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist Tele-therapists and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not being considered for this role Location: Bridgeport, Connecticut

Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
