Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a skilled Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services to support K-12 students through a contracted school year (CSY) engagement. The role is based in Commerce City, CO, and involves providing tailored occupational therapy interventions to enhance students' functional abilities and academic success. Key Qualifications and Experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license in Colorado or eligibility to obtain one Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques for pediatric populations Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans Familiarity with special education processes and collaboration with educators Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, families, and school staff Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans aimed at improving motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into educational plans Document progress and maintain compliance with school district and state regulations Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support Location: Commerce City, Colorado This contract position spans the full school year, providing a meaningful opportunity to impact student outcomes in an educational environment.
