Summary:
Seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services to students with diverse physical, social-emotional, and developmental needs across multiple school sites. This role includes direct treatment, assessments, IEP development, assistive tech integration, and collaboration with teachers and related service providers. Ideal candidates will be experienced in school-based OT and passionate about student independence and inclusion.
What Youll Do:
Deliver direct OT services aligned to IEP goals across school and community settings
Conduct formal/informal evaluations to guide functional, academic, and behavioral support
Write and implement IEP goals, accommodations, and transition plans
Document services, maintain data, and complete Medicaid billing as required
Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as assigned
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., SLPs, PTs, BCBAs, teachers, nurses)
Support students in ADLs including toileting, feeding, and mobility needs
Provide training and consultation to school staff to support skill generalization
Experience Youll Need:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
Valid MA OT license and certification
Experience working with students with social-emotional and behavioral needs
Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment
Valid drivers license
