A unique opportunity is available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support elementary and middle school students in a vibrant California school district. This contract position runs from August 20, 2025, through June 11, 2026, and offers a mix of two full-time and one part-time openings. The role is based onsite, providing direct interaction with students and staff for a collaborative educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech therapy to elementary students with caseloads ranging from 45-50 students for full-time positions
- Provide targeted therapy to middle school students in a mild-to-moderate program one day per week for the part-time position (approximately 14 students)
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement effective communication strategies
- Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of student progress and goals
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a CA SLP License
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school and healthcare settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or required
- Strong understanding of school-based therapy caseload management and individualized education programs (IEPs)
