Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Glendale, CA, serving high school students with speech and language needs. This contract role offers the chance to work closely with a manageable caseload and contribute meaningfully to student progress within a supportive educational setting. Responsibilities include: Providing comprehensive speech and language therapy to approximately 22 students, primarily high school age, with mild to moderate and some moderate-severe needs. Delivering interventions tailored to individual student goals to enhance communication skills. Potentially supporting an elementary caseload based on district needs. Collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers to develop and implement effective communication strategies. Participating in regular documentation, assessments, and progress reporting as required by the district and SELPA guidelines. Adhering to scheduled work hours from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM throughout the school year. Desired qualifications: Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Experience working with a diverse student population in school settings, particularly high school-aged students. Ability to manage a caseload with varying levels of communication challenges. Strong collaboration and communication skills with school staff and families. Knowledge of district and SELPA policies relating to speech and language services. This position offers a structured school-year contract, billed through the district, providing an excellent platform for professional growth in educational speech-language pathology.
