School Speech Therapist Orinda, California

A part-time Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving students in grades TK-5 within a K-12 school setting in Orinda, CA. This contract position begins August 4, 2025, and concludes May 29, 2026, with all work performed onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in grades TK through 5
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and school district regulations
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) license required
• Experience or eligibility for the Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) preferred
• Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for collaborating with diverse student populations and staff
