A part-time Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving students in grades TK-5 within a K-12 school setting in Orinda, CA. This contract position begins August 4, 2025, and concludes May 29, 2026, with all work performed onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in grades TK through 5
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and school district regulations
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) license required
- Experience or eligibility for the Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) preferred
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for collaborating with diverse student populations and staff
