SLP Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with mild to severe disabilities.
- Provide direct therapy services in push-in and pull-out settings.
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records.
- Consult with teachers, parents and staff to support student needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes.
- Support social communication skills and language development.
Qualifications:
- Required: Kansas SLP License or Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders (SLPAs)
- Required: Ability to work onsite part-time or full-time
- Required: Ability to commute
- Preferred: Previous school-based experience
