A school district in Mission Viejo, CA is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive services to K-12 students during the upcoming school year. This full-time, contract position involves delivering therapy in a dynamic educational setting, with opportunities to utilize expertise in home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school-based occupational therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions for K-12 students
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students functional capabilities and academic success
• Document and monitor student progress in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Provide teletherapy services as needed to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development

Qualifications:

• Current California Occupational Therapist license required
• Proven experience providing occupational therapy services within a school setting
• Strong knowledge of K-12 educational environments and developmental needs
• Skilled in delivering therapy through various modalities including teletherapy
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, five days a week during the school year
