Sunbelt is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist for a school district near Oak Park, IL for the full upcoming school year. This position offers a consistent 3-day-per-week schedule serving students from PreK through age 22.
Position Details:
Schedule: 3 days/week, 7:30 AM 3:30 PM
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Caseload: Students from PreKage 22
Location: Near Oak Park, IL
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and coordinate a physical therapy program that addresses:
Safety and positioning techniques
Relaxation activities
Balance and equilibrium exercises
Abnormal muscle tone and reflex patterns
Collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers
Monitor and document student progress
Contribute to IEP development and meetings
Qualifications:
Active Illinois Physical Therapist license
Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
