Occupational Therapist (OT) Full-Time Sun City Center, FL

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a licensed and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, on-site role in a supportive school district located in Sun City Center, Florida. This position offers the opportunity to help K12 students build the skills needed for academic achievement and daily living through individualized therapy and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and observations to assess students functional abilities and needs

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and therapy goals tailored to each students strengths and challenges

• Provide direct therapy services to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care abilities, and classroom participation

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success and access to the curriculum

• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary

• Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines

• Offer strategies, resources, and training to staff and families to support skill development outside therapy sessions

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with district policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

• Current Florida Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure

• Previous school-based experience preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

• Commitment to fostering student independence and participation
