Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A K-12 educational institution in Canterbury, CT, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct in-person support for students during a full semester contract. This opportunity is ideal for professionals holding credentials such as SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLP-School certification interested in working two days per week (0.4 FTE). Location: Canterbury, CT (approximately 25 minutes from Norwich) Onsite, with direct student interaction Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to K-12 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs Collaborate with educators and staff to support student progress and communication goals Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning efforts Qualifications: Valid SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLP-School certification Experience working in a school setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage caseload and prioritize student needs effectively Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based speech therapy services This full-semester contract offers a structured schedule of two in-person days weekly, supporting focused therapeutic intervention within a dynamic educational environment.
